En estos momentos tan complejos es bueno hacer acopio de ideas para preparar nuestras casas de cara a una temporada diferente. No sabemos con certeza si podremos disfrutar de vacaciones en la playa o en el campo o ninguna. No vamos a cejar en la realidad de que el tiempo sigue su curso y llega el verano.
Nos vayamos o nos quedemos, hay que pensar en el calor, y poner nuestros hogares acordes con la estación que se avecina.
Hay tácticas que se emplean para aligerar nuestras casas y convertirlas en zonas frescas de cara a la nueva estación :
- Alfombras del salon, comedor y cuarto de estar. La forma barata de limpiarlas para ahorrarnos en tinte: ponlas boca abajo durante una semana o 10 días. Pasado ese tiempo dales la vuelta, limpia antes el suelo de todo lo que han dejado, barriendo y luego fregando con agua y 3/4 de litro de vinagre. El suelo, si es de madera lo agradecerá y si es de algún material también porque el vinagre se usaba ya para limpiar todo tipo de superficies desde el siglo XVI. Después colócalas de nuevo donde estaban o no las pongas durante toda la temporada de verano.
- Atrévete a cambiar los complementos de la casa. A los almohadones de los sofás cámbiales las fundas para que den otro aire al ambiente en el que están. Busca telas que combinen bien, pero más vivas y subidas de tonos. Esta temporada se llevan lisos de lino y algodón en toda la gama cromática y también los estampados suaves.
- Plantas y Flores. Llena tú salón de plantas en una esquina especial y juega con las gamas de verde y la floración. Un bonito ficus de altura media, mezclado con hortensias en blanco o violeta junto a una kentia de verde más claro te llenan esa zona del salón que sueles tener vacía.
- Mueve los muebles a tu antojo y aligera el espacio, que tiempo tendrás de volver a poner cosas de nuevo. La sensación de lo imprescindible bien colocado llenan de sobra salones y cuartos en el verano. Y respira ligereza y color que el verano empieza a llamar a nuestras puertas.
